Scope of Works:

We were engaged by Ravello Apartments to supply and install a CCTV System. The purpose was to catch theft, vandalism and damage to property.

As the complex is very large there were a lot of areas to cover. We proposed a 26-camera solution with a 32-channel recorder at 30 days recovery playback. This facility didn’t have a control room either. 

We designed the entire process with establishing the control room and the location of cameras. With measuring and slab scanning. We drilled core-holes into the carpark from the control room to commence pre-wiring. The pre-wiring was the most challenging part as the complex is very long and the entire pre-wiring was enclosed in conduit to prevent and avoid tamper.

We carried out pre-wiring, supply and installation of cameras, supply and installation of 4 mounting screens, supply and installation of a control cabinet with power supplies and cooling fans. We also supplied the control room with a telephone line, modem, assisted in setting up an account and an in-house PC. The system is analogue and is still in use today and has facilitated the identification of many perpetrators across the years since it has been in service.
